A GLIMPSE INTO THE MAGIC...
After a 9 hour day of hands on shamanic healing sessions, I drew her a hot bath.
Lighting candles & sprinkling her favorite scents into the tub, I sang to the waters ~ stirring in love & intentions.
She soaked for a while & enjoyed privacy in her bedroom before making her way back downstairs in her fuzzy robe & slippers I had provided.
As she settled onto the plush leather couch in front of the cracking fire, I brought her a cup of tea and a side of chocolate.
Sitting down beside her, I asked her how she was feeling.
She turned to me with tears in her eyes.
"I think I'm ready to talk about it."
I replied: Take as much time as you need, sister.
I leaned back into the sofa, sipping my own tea and giving her space to give words to what she'd been holding onto.
The words came... slowly at first... but they didn't stop for nearly an hour.
As the fire crackled in the background, sacred smokes of frankincense danced around the dimly lit space, weaving a sacred cocoon around the healing that was unfolding.
I listened actively, but never interrupted, questioned, or clarified.
I just let her speak.
The story she had never told anyone.
The guilt, shame & emotional pain that had wrapped around her being, tightly gripping her from the inside was dissipating.
"I'm honored you shared this with me, sister. Thank you." I finally said.
"Thank you for listening," she replied.
I got up making an excuse to fix more tea but wanted to ensure she had some privacy to integrate what she'd just done.
Upon my return, I offered more chocolate.
I sat on the floor, below her, looking up towards her ... putting her in the power position.
We chatted, giggled & shared stories for another hour or two before she was ready for bed.
After that night,
her sleep radically improved.
She felt lighter & didn't have the feeling of anxiety hovering over her
A month later, she was going days with no digestive issues.
Within months, the pain she carried for 10 years was nearly gone..
She was making incredible connections in her life, her relationships were thriving.
She was no longer holding onto the guilt or shame.
